The Wind Waker

A curious instrument indeed, this silver baton grants incredible power to those who know the tune to play. Kaito knows of all six of the possible melodies (within the game, at least), but not all of them really have much use outside the Great Sea... Nonetheless, they're one of the few things he can display to prove the existence of 'magic' in his world, without actually expending magic energy. Additionally, he tends to have the Wind Waker on him, so chances are he'll use it for SOMETHING, even if it's just to play music.

![]() Wind's Requiem | A simple tune, this allows Kaito to change the direction that the wind blows in, both for the cardinal or 'middle' directions; north, north-west, west, south-west, south, etc. He learned it from Mach's shrine marker on Dragon Roost Island. |
![]() Command Melody | Don't be fooled by its name! While the music learned within the Tower of the Gods is indeed able to allow Kaito to 'possess' certain statues, this doesn't extend to people unless they explicitly allow it. Of course, Kaito would have it no other way... |
![]() Ballad of Gales | This song has unfortunately lost its use. While on the Great Sea, this song allowed Link to call upon Ponta's cyclones in order to transport himself across the seas. However, now that he's out of range, it isn't likely he can do that... |
![]() Earth God's Lyric | Even in his own world, this song has a rather limited use. It's a nice one though; Kaito is supposed to play it for the one who Melag, the Sage of Earth, reincarnated into, in order to awaken the bloodline of sages. |
![]() Wind God's Aria | Much like the Lyric, this song is meant to awaken the next sage, the Sage of Wind. Kaito is meant to play this song for Alit, the Korok, whose previous self was the Kokiri sage by the same name. |
![]() Song of Passing | This is a tune that Kaito learned on Windfall, from a dancer who believed his steps would 'make night into day'. As it turned out, the dance referred to motions with the Wind Waker--playing the song makes 12 hours pass, becoming either evening or day. |
